-- NiSoft hires Industry Veteran Keith Carman as Vice President, N. American Sales--

Denver, December 3, 2012 – NiSoft, LLC (www.nisoft.com), a leading provider of Safety Document Management Systems, Electronic Permit-to-Work and Lockout Tagout (LOTO) solutions today announced the hiring of Keith Carman as Vice President, N. American Sales.  A plant maintenance and operations solutions sales veteran, Carman will work with NiSoft’s CEO, Doug Deardorf to help drive the company’s revenue growth strategies in N. America.  A former refinery operator and maintenance worker, Carman has, over the past 25 years, had a productive career working with leading Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution providers.

“Keith has successfully sold enterprise and departmental solutions into large continuous process facilities including upstream, mid-stream and downstream producers and refiners, chemicals, energy utilities, pharmaceuticals as well as to discrete manufacturing and metals/mining.  His proven sales track record and reputation for attentive post-sales service will serve him well as NiSoft accelerates our strong momentum in selling critical ePTW and LOTO solutions in complex plant environments of all types,” NiSoft CEO Doug Deardorf said.

Carman has held senior sales and business development positions, most recently with BlueCielo ECM Solutions, where he was responsible for selling Energy Content Management and Asset Information Management solutions.  Before joining BlueCielo, Carman was with Rolls-Royce Energy/ OSySCarman also has held positions at AssetPoint LLC, ABB Reliability Engineering & Consulting Services and MRO Software (MAXIMO) prior to its acquisition by IBM.

Carman will expand NiSoft’s presence in N. America by establishing an office in the Houston area.  He is a licensed Ham Radio Operator and is an avid offshore fisherman and serves as a licensed fishing guide in the Gulf.
